Vision and mission statement

Pat started working with rare breeds back in the 1970s, encouraged by her friend and neighbour, the late Joe Henson. Instinctively she knew that this isolated Cotswold valley needed to be preserved as it was when she first arrived. Her actions in respecting the natural flora and fauna found in the valley, and her use of what we now think of as ‘sustainable grazing systems’, has preserved the integrity of this farmland for the future. It is a unique and valuable resource to those wishing to visit and learn.
